Loretta Lynn recently mentioned that she would like to do a duet with Elton John. Now that would surely made a great record!! I hope that wish is actualized!

Carrie underwood, Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler should all do a song together. It would me amazing if they all went out on concert together.

Don Williams with Lee Ann Womack

Kid Rock and Susan Tedeschi (Yes I am aware they are neither "country" but both have dabbled enough and I think would kick some country ass together.)

Jo Dee Messina and Chris Young

Your Strait/Brooks collaboration reminded me of an article I linked to the other day.

"My God," an admiring young Garth Brooks once told Farrell while watching [George Strait] offstage during a 1989 or 1990 show. "I have seen men who were self-contained, but he goes too far."

Don Williams and Alison Krauss
Ronnie Dunn and Merle Haggard
George Strait and Garth Brooks (the Super Bowl of collaborations)

Kelly, I get to slack off sometimes, but if I do it too often, I don't get to eat, and that seems to be the one thing I have in common with Gary LeVox.

Good suggestions, Lucas. Here's a video of Randy Travis and Josh Turner performing "King of the Road."

ARTISTS I'D LIKE TO DO A DUET WITH:
Garth Brooks - The guy is just my hero, plain and simple. He knew the difference between being traditional and being boring. He was able to combine neotraditional country with fun. My MySpace songs are my leftovers, I'm saving my best songs because I was advised to by a friend. But I'd still look like a second grader standing next to Garth.

Taylor Swift - Based on age similarity and style. This would be a fun song for me personally, I'm a huge Taylor fan.

ARTIST I'D LIKE TO SEE DO DUETS TOGETHER:
Keith Whitley (if he was still here) & Tracy Lawrence - Their voices would be amazing together. Maybe two guys going for one girl, a song about a friend passing (one singing as the passed friend and the other as the best friend), or who cares... just a duet would be amazing!

Tracy Byrd & Clint Black - A song by these two guys would be a good time on a disc! Imagine at a concert. Guest appearance by Neal McCoy maybe?

Dierks Bentley & Carrie Underwood - They could have one of those cool/mysterious broken-up boyfriend/girlfriend love songs. The video would probably be pretty nifty too!

Josh Turner & Randy Travis - Come on, this one is obvious. It would be HUGE at radio.

Brooks & Dunn & Alan Jackson - I'd pay a million dollars to hear a really great duet. That is, if I had a million dollars.

I HAVE to see Dolly and Kenny sing Islands In The Stream live, that's a goal.
