Hesitation Blues is great, but my favorite track is I'm Sitting on Top of the World in which Willie shares vocals with Elizabeth McGovern. Willie and Asleep at the Wheel did a short tour earlier this year in which they performed all the tracks from the album, plus more. It was spectacular and I wish they would go back out again. Willie and the Wheel is the finest musical release of the year. I bought it before it went down to $5, but it was well worth it. I seem to really like Willy's side/concept projects. Willie's voice still sounds great here, though it's starting to sound more worn on his new, albeit great, American Classics album. This is an awesome song from an excellent album. It is a darn near perfect re-interpretation of a classic old time tune with a perfect combination of dixieland jazz and western swing influences. This song just "rocks"! Fans of historical forms of country music will love this song while those with no familiarity will just scratch their heads. In my capacity as fill-in DJ at the Grand Ole Echo Club I've played this song between sets during their Americana oriented concerts with no response from the audience.
