- CMT reports that Toby Keith’s film, Broken Bridges, will have its television premiere on Dec. 15 on CMT at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The DVD will be released Jan. 9, 2007. Also included in the cast is Willie Nelson. If I remember correctly the film tanked at the box office, but it’d be interesting to watch and see what kind of performance Keith puts on.
- Carrie Underwood’s diamond dress that she wore during the CMA award ceremony is going to be auctioned off. Unless you have an unusually large wad of money lying around, you shouldn’t worry about bidding. The dress has been valued at $850,000. Even if I had that kind of money I wouldn’t be spending it on a dress, mainly because I’m a guy, but still, it’s just a dress.
- Kris Kristofferson is going on tour again…at age 70. The Times Picayune says he’s going on tour to promote his new album, This Old Road.
- Jerry Lee Lewis is enjoying a higher profile again since the release of latest album, Last Man Standing. On the album he sings duets with many notable singers, including Willie Nelson and George Jones.
