Vote The 9513 Best Music Blog of 2008
2008 was a great year here at The 9513–we brought our readers daily news roundups, album and single reviews, thought-provoking editorials, tons of awesome prizes, and interviews with some of country music’s biggest and brightest. So, it was a nice surprise when we heard, last week, that we’d been selected as one of ten finalists for Best Music Blog of 2008 in the annual Weblog Awards.
Now we need your help.
The 9513 was selected as a finalist out of thousands of nominations, and we’re up against huge names in the music blogging community like Idolator and Stereogum. The winner will be selected by popular vote–and that’s where you come in. When you click on the image above or below, you’ll be taken to the poll where you can vote for us. It only takes a second, you don’t need to give your eMail address, and you can vote once every 24 hours (between now and January 13).
We’re the only country music blog nominated in 2008, so think about voting as your duty to your genre.
Still reading? Go vote, already! Oh, and thanks for helping to make The 9513 the web’s premier destination for country music news and hard-hitting country music commentary.

You guys definitely have my vote!! Best overall coverage of country music & input on new stuff. I’ve learned quite a bit about other artists I wouldn’t have known about without 9513. :)

Come on everybody, VOTE! The 9513 is being left in the dust at this point and the current leader is “Electroqueer”! (What’s up with that?) We all need to rally round the 9513 flagpole even if it does have a Lone Star Republic flag on it! (lol)
The 9513 should include a link to this topic thread in each day’s news summary until the voting period has expired to remind floks like me with no short term memory…..

Hi,
just to let you know, my 6 collegues in office vote for you each day, although they don’t know anything about country music. (Which is understandable, since we’re from the part of Europe where nobody listens to country)
