This song is going to be a hit for them. It’s going to gain a ton of steam as summer hits. It’s catchy and has a nice little beat to it.

Of the songs they’ve released so far this is the one that still wears well after repeated listening. Its a pleasant and likeable song and I hope it does well for them on radio. I do think radio programmers have already written these guys (and gal) off as an also-ran schtick act, but we’ll see…

I’m not diggin’ this song, sorry y’all. They’re coming to town soon with McGraw and Lady A, so it’ll be interesting to hear what people think of them, but I have not gotten into anything they’ve released so far, including “Beer Gut”, which was just disturbing, more than anything.

I think this deserves the thumbs up regardless of if their previous releases were some of the worst nashville has to offer.

also Sam G. I believe “Rockin’ The Beer Gut” made it to the top 30 just for an edit.

This review is interesting because it appears you are rating this song relative to previously released songs. In other words, the others were so bad that this song is “approved” simply because it isn’t as bad as the others.

Nonetheless your assertion about them being taken seriously is right-on. It will be nice to see what they can do laying gimmicks aside.

It’s also nice to see a thumbs up rating. Year to date the count is 21 down and 14 up.
