Toby is the Kid Rock of country.

Who is his Joe C? Long live Joe C.

Toby Keith, like many Americans, is just a guy who likes money. Nothing wrong with that. He pays attention to the kinds of songs his fans like, which are songs heavy on the fun factor and the rest doesn’t matter.

I’m not exactly sure when he started thinking more about market research than music but it might have been about the time he learned he was able to polarize fans by saying silly things about the Dixie Chicks. Most thinking people understand that in America, everyone is protected by the same freedoms and the DCs have a right to their opinion just like Toby does. What Toby seemed to learn is that there are plenty of non-thinking Country fans and he became their instant hero. He’s just making a buck or two off those people.

Watch and see how his music changes if the country mood changes in the next presidential election.

I loved the song also! I love his videos, his sarcasm and his big grin! Every country singer is allowed to have their ballads and their fun songs. Listen to Brad Paisley’s “check you for ticks” I think thats the title. Its just a fun song to listen to as is Toby’s. Im with the others on it being motivational. I might just buy me a cowboy hat too. As for the barbwire tat. I’ll stick to butterflies. lol!
