Lets wait until Carrie’s CD is out before making “It will be the same crap but sell millions” prediction. I agree, not everyone of her songs like Miranda’s will be good but there’s buzz about a particular one that made everyone sit up and take notice. She co-wrote it off of the “Purpose Driven Life” book. That’s enough info to wonder.

Patsy Cline is no longer responsible for “Cowboy Casanova”. The song has respectfully been given back to the hands of Carrie. Patsy fans can sleep well tonight and so can Carrie’s fans.

Steve M. : You should seriously give Obama a ring and let him know about the tragedy that Carrie is bringing to country music. I’m sure he will immediately do something about it once you mention that she is exactly like Richard Nixon. By all means, we can’t have another Nixon on our hands.

Until you make that call, I guess we will all just have to suffer through hit song after hit song and hit album after hit album. How will we all survive?

Wow, you’ve found a way to make this political too – and with a president who is already deceased. You’re one tough cookie. You seriously must have graduated at the top of your class. I mean, who else could have thought of a better comparison. I mean everyone is probably in awe with your Nixon comment right now. I mean, who wouldn’t be?

I like Carrie’s music and I’m glad that it is on the radio instead of the more “country” stuff. Country is so much better with a nice heaping of pop thrown in.

I wouldn’t boost there Dan that Underwood’s sales equate with quality. This is after all the same country that voted Richard M. Nixon twice to the presidency. That didn’t work out too well either.
