That is about as country as Brad Roberts has ever gotten, and it was actually their fifth release (it was intended originally as a Brad Roberts solo project, but when other Dummies members recorded vocals and bass parts, and agreed to tour the album, the Crash Test Dummies name was stamped on the release). He covers both more somber, Johnny Cash-leaning ground ("I Never Fall Asleep At Night", "On And On") and silly, good-humored fare ("Shoot 'Em Up, Shoot 'Em Down", "Sittin' On A Tree Stump") and it actually sounds quite appealing.
