@sheep, yes the negativity is ugly, but what is there 12 comments that are negative.. hardly a dent compared to the millions of taylornation fans out there touting her for her ???? awesomeness.. which is ??? unwarranted… I mean she has great market appeal, some very good songs.. one of her best being ‘love song’ which she touts as being solely written on her own, which I have a hard time believing she could write all the lyrics, music, on her own on that one.. sorry… she even goes to say that her songs are written by her and cowrites are just an edit, not a contribution.. yeah, ok oh HUGE EGO GIRL!!! but she’s not all that… and her music doesn’t compare to her competitors.. do you think she has as much to offer as a songwriter as Alicia Keys????? think about that.. and her voice better than Beyonce?? or Carrie Underwood..? Reba? Miranda Lambert????????? faith Hill??? com’on… it’s a joke and everyone knows it.. so how can you blame anyone from commenting… Yes, she sold a bunch of cd’s… downloads.. give her a statue of a giant dollar sign and call it a day!!!!

Taylor also won an award for best adult contemporary. Since this was fan voted me thinks if she had been up for best R&B she have won that as well.

Swift should get out of Country music. She’s Pop and the sooner she realizes this the better.

She doesn’t even know anything because according to her, every song in the world is a Country song.

Gloriana only won because Swift told all of her little acolytes to vote for them and she should get out of the industry because her material are the only things as bad as rap without being rap. She stands for everything wrong with the industry.

The only good thing about the American Music Awards was that she didn’t perform and make everybody’s ears bleed with her dreadful vocals.

Yeah, South Mouth is a good’un. The Doyle album isn’t one of his strongest, but it’s still mighty good, and if I remember right, it’s the last album Jamie Dailey recorded with him. But IMO the sleeper there is the Terri Clark live album, which features her outstanding current lineup.

As far as the “Taylor Swift” case goes, you betcha money “trickles down” to songwriters (this has nothing to do with artists) from licensing fees – which, BTW, amount for most bars & restaurants to a couple of dollars a day. Seems like the principle of “if you don’t want to pay for it, don’t use it” shouldn’t be that hard to grasp.
