Rich’s Manager Wants Lawsuit Dropped; Opry Experiments With Captioning
WSMV Nashville obtained audio tapes of a conversation John Rich’s manager, Marc Oswald, had with Jared Ashley in which Oswald tried to get Ashley to drop his lawsuit against Rich.
The audio recordings are supposedly a conversation between Oswald and Ashley on May 22. The recordings are edited. Ashley never speaks.

CMA Music Fest Attenadance Up; Shooter Jennings Engaged; Steer Tosses Jack Ingram
Music City TV reports that attendance to CMA Music Fest was up seven percent over last year.
Shooter Jennings asked his longtime girlfriend Drea de Matteo to marry him at his concert in Utica, N.Y. on Thursday.

The Librarian of Congress has selected 25 culturally significant recordings to preserve in the National Recording Registry.
