The alt-country music magazine No Depression will cease to exist after publishing the May-June issue. The current issue of the magazine contains a statement that basically says the decline in music sales is adversely affecting their means to make money. Tim McGraw Scores Assist On New Def Leppard Single
The new single from rock band Def Leppard’s forthcoming album was co-written by Tim McGraw.
McGraw, a current Grammy nominee as a songwriter for “If You’re Reading This,” initiated the co-write idea three years ago through his longtime tour manager Robert Allen, brother of Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen.

Don’t confuse disappointing with worst, as that list would most likely be dominated by obscure indie knockoff bands along with a couple of mainstream releases. There has to be a modicum of expectation that’s dashed upon the release of an album for it to qualify for the year’s most disappointing.
