Dwight Yoakam and Kid Rock Pair Up To Help Eagles’ Bassist On New Album
Eagles‘ bassist Timothy B. Schmit plans to release his first solo album in eight years this coming fall, and he tells Billboard.com that there is a Dwight Yoakam and Kid Rock pairing.

Stonewall Jackson and Opry Settle Lawsuit
The federal age discrimination lawsuit Stonewall Jackson filed last year against the Grand Ole Opry and its management has been settled, or as Jackson’s attorney, Kirk Clements, words it, “dismissed with prejudice.” Whatever that means.

Pat Green may think twice before asking for another beer from stage:
The Jackson Citizen Patriot reports that late in his show, he shouted, “Anyone got a beer?”
A can of suds suddenly soared from the audience onto the stage. Then a second can from the crowd hit Green between the eyes, knocking him out.

Hank Jr. Continues Monday Night Football Partnership
