Thanks for adding those.... I always enjoy it when Laura Cantrell gets on her soapbox about the lack of respect paid to women (in an overall sense) throughout the history of country music. Let's face it that men have traditionally held most of the positions of power in the country music industry and its been a "good old boys club". I'm glad that Laura is so passionate about this issue. Jamey Johnson has a short interview segment on GAC's "On The Streets" episode this week and he really seemed to be enjoying himself. (They even had a short interview with Carrie Rodriguez where Carrie and Suzanne Alexander were discussing Lucinda Williams. Something I have always thought was lacking. However, if you look back in the grand scheme of country music, men have generally dominated the industry, so it's understandable.
