- Sara Evans will sing the national anthem tomorrow for the Indianapolis Colts vs.Tennessee Titans game at LP Field in Nashville. The game starts at 1:00 p.m. (EST)/12:00 p.m. (CST) and will be broadcasted by CBS.
- Wynonna Judd made an apperance in New York for a special event at a retail store in Manhattan yesterday, marking World AIDS Day. She is the ambassador for Youth AIDS. You can catch her performing today and tomorrow at a casino near Fresno, California. She’ll present a trophy at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Monday, and sing with Patti LaBelle for a BET special on Tuesday. Wynonna will also perform at the Noble Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway, on December 11.
- Keith Anderson is performing today at Wildhorse Saloon to collect toys and raise money for the U.S. Marines’ Toys for Tots program. His opening act is Jason Michael Carroll, he sings that song called, Alyssa Lies. Keith will also perform the national anthem for the Nashville Predators hockey game tonight.
- One of my favorite singers, Julie Roberts, will travel overseas early next year on behalf of the Country Music Association. She will travel to London, Dublin, Ireland, and Glasgow, Scotland with songwriter Jace Everett in a promotion billed as New from Nashville.
- Tomorrow, the Kennedy Center will honor Dolly Parton for her lifetime contributions to the arts and American culture. She is only the second country female star to receive the Kennedy Center Honors. Dolly says she hopes to release a new cd in the spring titled Country is as Country Does.
