I’m looking forward to the new Sarah Buxton album and hope it comes out on a CD this time! I just hope its not full of songs that sound like “Space”!
Its great to see Ashton Shepherd, Star De Azlan, and Catherine Britt on Occasional Hope’s Top Singles list. Even though Catherine Britt is a very talented songwriter “The Upside of Being Down” was written by Rory Lee Feek, and Christi and Shari Baker, so there’s a Joey+Rory linkage there! (lol) This list is the kind of “Hope I can believe in”, unlike all the B.S that Odumbo spews incessantly…
Wow, the USA Today list includes Radney Foster, Kendel Carson, and Sarah Jarosz! I’m a bit shocked and pleasantly surprised all at the same time! (lol)
As for “BUG Country” going to a “Young Country” focused format, that’s nothing compared to what has happened to a former “Classic Country” station: (From AllAboutCountry.com)
“Classic Country ‘Legend’ WLND/98.1/Chattanooga flips to the Hot Adult Contemporary format known as “Your Music, Your Life.”
The new format features artists like Kelly Clarkson/Nickelback/Kings of Leon/Colbie Caillat/Taylor Swift in a mix of Hot AC.
In the latest Arbitrends, WLND with the “Legend” format held sixth place 12+ with a 5.6 share.”
Could this be the start of a trend? A big thanks to Taylor Swift for all she’s done for/to “country music” these days…

My kind of country’s top 50 list of singles is a much better list than the one here on this website.

Where do you see any such list on The 9513, Waynoe?
Otherwise, I’ll agree with the assessment that Occasional Hope did a great job on her list.
