It will be interesting to see which label Ashley Monroe has inked a deal with. The Vanguard / Sugar Hill folks would be my first choice but any label that lets her be herself is fine by me. Now if she’d just hook up with songwriters like Rory Feek and Wynn Varble (or even Jon Weisberger!) rather than that Brendan Benson dude…

Will Jamey Johnson’s “White Album” feature his version of the Beatles song “Revolution”? Hmm…

I hope Johnson keeps this release rate up. I’m a little sick of this ridiculous modern practice of only putting an album out every 2-4 years.
