Preview Songs From Pam Tillis’ Upcoming Album, Rhinestoned

Pam Tillis - Rhinestoned If you’ve been reading The 9513 for any period of time, you’ll recall that Pam Tillis has an upcoming album titled Rhinestoned. If you’ve been reading Country Universe you’ll know more than you probably ever thought you’d know about her and that Kevin has an unhealthy obsession. I’m only kidding, as if there really is such a thing as an unhealthy obsession for Pam Tillis. All kidding aside, we’ve been given the go ahead to post a couple of songs from Rhinestoned. So give “Band In The Window” and “Life Has Sure Changed Us Around” with John Anderson a listen and let us know what you think in the comments. If you really like ‘em, be sure to purchase the album when it comes out on April 17, 2007 and support Pam’s back to her roots effort. I’m sure it’ll be worth it.

Note: If you’d like to sample the rest of the album, head over to Pam Tillis’ website, where she has the full album available for preview.

The sad thing is I haven’t even begun to cover Pam in the depth I plan to, and I’m already exposed as obsessed!

No worries, everyone has their favorites and Pam is definitely nothing to be ashamed of being obsessed over ;)

Sounds good! I’ll have to put this one on my list. I’ve always liked Pam Tillis and it has John Anderson too! Whoo hoo! Bonus!

We got to see Pam at the Opry a couple of weeks ago and she played “Band in the Window”. I’m glad that she is releasing another album and is on tour.

I just love the over all feeling with this album. It is just good old fashion honky tonk feeling with a modern twist. You could hear any of the songs while walking up and down Broadway. John Anderson really fills the “Life Sure Has Changed Us Around” well with a good up tempo beat. You go back down memory road with that song. The album gives you the feel of tradition with timeless songs that you could hear 50 years ago or 50 years in the future.

Pam brought back tradition with the album and is something I love to listen to on a car ride, in the office, or at home.
