Carrie is coming to LA’s McCabe’s Guitar Shop on May 8th and I’ve already got my ticket. I’ve seen Chip Taylor perform there at least twice and this will be my second show by Carrie at McCabe’s. I just regret I never got to see them peform together! Oh well…

While I’m sure she appreciates the shout out whenever it comes, “Love & Circumstance” is not exactly new. It was released in April 2010 and made several year-end Top 10 lists. It was released earlier this year in the UK, but it has been widely available in the US for more than a year now.

“We Still Love Our Country,” with Ben Kyle, is her latest release, coming out earlier this year in February.

Thanks for the comments everyone. For le record: It’s (Love & Circumstance) new in the UK – was released there in late February (28th). Will be released throughout Europe in late August (with the exception of Holland, where it’s already been released). Hopefully, moving forward her albums will be released at pretty much the same time worldwide – moving forward. Label switch and lingering EMI crap caused this staggering. WSLOC will also be released worldwide (digitally) in Sept.
