I LOVE OCMS! I saw them for the first time a couple of years ago (maybe only a year) in Phoenix, AZ at the Celebrity Theatre… WHAT A SHOW! The instruments… the voices… the passion. I just loved the entire night! And it was so cool to see the other fans getting totally into it, almost like jam-band style… dancing in the aisles. Gotta love when music moves you.

After I first heard Wagon Wheel a couple years ago, I played it all the time for OCMS virgins and they were all instantly hooked! Sweet ol’ bluegrass with a young, fresh perspective and great, relevant lyrics. Just played Wagon Wheel at my wedding and 200+ guests were belting it out like they were all at home, alone in the shower! Even my other favorite bands cover OCMS – like Against Me! Nice tribute. I want this album!

I think Willie Watson is the best, little-known voice out there anywhere (including his own band). Free Willie!
My favorites are “Hard to Tell”, “God’s Got It” and “We’re All In This Together”. My brothers and buddies played “We’re All In This Together” at our wedding at which point, there weren’t a dry eye in the pasture.
For the info of some of you who are new to OCMS, they are definitely a live band. If they are near you, don’t miss it.

My favorite song is james river blues. Oh man that song just makes me feel like i’m living life. Like the blues just takes a moment out of life and examines it but that folk ballad takes life in the whole sceme of things. You know?

I would like this album because i’m dumping all my money into taking my gal to homecoming. I don’t got nothing extra, i owe money as it is. I don’t think i can wait for a while, and i don’t want to but it on credit to anyone cause i hate owing people.
