Anyways, in the article I read it mentioned that it happened earlier this year w/ with Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, and Hannah Montana Soundtrack… so I doubt its a new thing

Jon, thanks for plugging the “10 From Tenn” tour. I don’t expect them to ever make it out to the west coast, but it would sure be nice if they did. If The 9513 ever sponsors another concert tour, I definitely think Ashley Monroe should be a part of it!

I think that new blog should actually be titled “Sounds Like Country, But It’s Not!” They definitely go for the Americana / Texas Regional style stuff like so many other blogs you folks offer links to. Yawn….

Congrats to Reba.

But I am a little confused about the new Billboard record for country albums … This is the first time 3 different albums were #1 on the Billboard 200 back to back? Because I am sure there lots of times when a country album held the top spot for 3 weeks. Garth Brooks probably held that place for months at a time, right? And I thought even Some Gave All was #1 for like 17 straight weeks … So this is a first because it’s 3 different albums by 3 different country artists debuting atop the all-genre chart? Still, I would have thought during the early 90s, with the introduction of SoundScan, country music would have already accomplished that feat. This probably sounds like a stupid question to the people in the know, but I am curious.
