He saw lots of other artists also. It was Johhny's CD that he bought (and Stony LaRue's) and told us to "GO SEE HIM if you get a chance - he's awesome!" My cousin wouldn't say that about just anyone as a Musician himself! My teen daughter, just younger than Johnny, went to Billy Bob's TX last Dec. 2007 and both she and I have loved him ever since. The entire Band and Staff (Derek) are awesome and so down to earth! AWESOME personalities not JUST the music! YES! The whole package does get you addicted.My daughter's twin brother went with us to see him in January 2008 and is a new fan of Johnny's (& Derek's)too. My cousin is on a committee in my hometown of Elgin, OK (a very small town near Lawton) that just booked Johnny and his band to play at their annual Celebration! We will definatly be there!
