The pop singer’s new hit song “Party in the U.S.A.” describes Miley being homesick and being relieved when a Jay-Z song comes on the radio. However, during an interview a reporter asked which Jay-Z song had inspired the lyric. “I don’t know, I didn’t write the song, so I have no idea. Honestly, I picked that song because I needed something to go with my clothing line. I didn’t write it [and] I didn’t expect it to be popular, originally. It was just something that I wanted to do and I needed some songs and it turned out for the best…I’ve never heard a Jay-Z song. I don’t listen to pop music. They give unfavorable reviews to every country artist.

Miley Cyrus is a spolied child who wouldn’t even be in the business if it wasn’t for the Disney machine shoving her down our throats, not to mention her father’s reputation in the genere.

I’m sure she wasn’t badmouthing country when she got publicity on the ACM’s, or freely hosted the CMT awards, and she certaintly wasn’t complaining when country radio played “The Climb,” or when she invited Taylor and Rascal Flatts to be in the Hannah Montana movie. Not only does she badmouth the genre that helped her get famous, but now she insults its artists that she pretended to respect?

There is nothing more contrived than the Disney train, which makes her look like an ungrateful hypocrite. She’s nothing more than a product to Disney, and she knows it. Her comments about country music itself remind me of similar ones said by “country” artist Danny Gokey. They both think twang and cowboy boots is the only way to fit in. Get with the times. Country isn’t about how you dress or how you talk, it’s about real songs and real people.

The only reason Miley even mentioned country being contrived is because she probably hers the industry rumbles about. There’s no way she came up with that explanation herself.
