Kidman Pregnant, Roger Creager Keynoting, and Stephen King’s Favorite Tracks of ‘06
- In the world of gossip, this is old news, but for those who haven’t heard, Nicole Kidman is expecting a baby with her man, Keith Urban. A source said: “Miss Kidman certainly isn’t hiding the changes in her body now and seems to be very comfortable with them. Any woman seeing her now up close can’t help but notice she is a mum-to-be.”
- Texas country music star, Roger Creager will keynote in January at a business seminar. Creager left his position as an executive at a Fortune 500 company to pursue his dream of music. Ed Shane, CEO of Shane Media Services, will be interviewing Creager for the keynote. He says, “If you’re in the music industry, whether you’re releasing a CD or just dreaming about it, you should attend this seminar.” It sounds like something that the staff here at The 9513 should be attending as well. If you haven’t seen Creager preform, I’d highly reccommend it. On his good nights he’s the best performer I’ve seen live, bar none.
- Stepehen King has a list of his favorite tracks in 2006, some of them country, he says these songs made him “get up and shake my increasingly elderly ass.” Among the country songs he lists My Drinkin’ Problem – Hank Williams III, Snake Farm – Ray Wylie Hubbard, Hey Valerie! – The Derailers (which he lists as the best country single of the year, followed by Would You Go With Me – Josh Turner), and God’s Gonna Cut You Down – Johnny Cash.
