Kellie Pickler Does The Weather and Clint Black and Travis Tritt to Release New Albums

  • Rascal Flatts will perform at New York City’s Time Square during the “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2007″ special on December 31, at 10pm Eastern on ABC. Their single “My Wish” scored them their sixth number one hit, and their album, Me and My Gang, is the best-selling artist album of the year.
  • Darryl Worley perfroms his new single, “I Just Came Back From A War,” tonight on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity and Colmes.”
  • Kellie Pickler helped meteorologist Dave Osterberg announce yesterday’s morning weather report on the FOX affiliate TV station in Tampa, Florida.
  • Clint Black will release a new album, Best Love Songs, on January 30. It will have 11 songs from his career, and a new cover of Jim Croce’s, “I’ll Have To Say I Love You In A Song.” Another artist I can think of off the top of my head that has done this before is my all time favorite singer; the one and only, John Michael Montgomery. He released an album in February 2002, titled Love Songs. With a voice and dimples like his, how could anyone resist?
  • Travis Tritt will also release an album on January 30. This album will be titled The Very Best of Travis Tritt, and will feature 20 of his greatest hits. Travis and American Idol judge, Randy Jackson, are working on new material for an album to be released in later 2007.
  • Trace Adkins has announced his Dangerous Man tour line up for 2007. Craig Morgan and Danielle Peck will be the opening acts. You can find more information on his site.
