Josh Gracin Subs For Lonestar, Toby Keith’s 2007 Tour Dates, & Mark Wills Has Dinner With The President
Lonestar ’s lead singer Richie McDonald couldn’t make his show in Corpus Christi on Wednesday due to suffering complications in a recent back surgery. Josh Gracin stepped up and took Richie’s place on lead vocals for a crowd of an estimated 3,500.
“We had a couple of shows coming up and Josh was on the bill with us,” Lonestar’s Dean Sams said later, “and when we told him about our situation, he said, ‘Hey, I’ve been a Lonestar fan since I was a kid! I could fill in for Richie on the shows we have together.’ The first thing I said was, ‘That’d be great,’ and then I said, ‘OK, let’s not bring up that kid thing again.’”
Toby Keith has announced his first tour dates of the 2007 “Hookin’ Up And Hangin’ Out Tour.” You can find more information on the tour dates on his site.Keith Anderson celebrated his first gold album for Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll on Wednesday at the 3rd & Lindsley Bar & Grill, where he got his big break with Arista Records.Mark Wills and his wife Kelly will have a Christmas dinner and tour of the White House tonight with the President, Mrs. Bush, and their guests. Mark will continue his tradition to sing for troops overseas in the Middle East this Christmas on the USO tour.
