Poor Sarah Buxton can’t catch a break! She is finally on the verge of making it and the label closes and she will probably fall back out of graces again!

We’ll hear more from Mr. Galante, a true veteran of the business. Sony/RCA et al. will likely undergo a bloodbath of artists under the new management.

    Lucas,

Many people I know think Joe Galante will create a new label in Nashville that’s similar to the Big Machine model. So, perhaps he’ll be wise and pick up Sarah Buxton if Hollywood/Lyric Street in Burbank doesn’t keep her.

Thanks for the Yep Rock download link. I’m not sure how many of the songs I’ll keep, but I always appreciate a freebie!

Speaking of freebies, Amazon is offering a free download of Brandon Rhyders’s song “Rock Angel”:

I’m sure Joe Galante has had enough of corporate politics for a lifetime! I do hope he opens his own label where the music comes first. He could sign Sarah Buxton and Tyler Dickerson right off the bat. Go Joe! (lol)

I think Rascal Flatts is far more deserving of a suckerpunch than a sackpunch(?).

Hey guys, how about a Kristen Kelly interview and album giveaway contest? That gal has got it goin’ on I tell you! (lol)

I wonder if Sony will keep Alison Bonaguro on the payroll.

Kevin Fowler, Tyler Dickerson and Bucky Covington join Rascal Flatts in moving from Lyric Street to DMG. Sarah Buxton, Love & Theft and The Parks have been dropped.

Poor Sarah Buxton. To be bumped in favor of Bucky Covington is adding insult to injury.
