I’m sure that everything you said about Porter was true; I’m just a little surprised that Dolly didn’t express it a little more diplomatically.

Based upon Dolly's comments Porter was probably even more condescending towards "girl singers" which wasn't unusual in 1960's Nashville but not something Dolly would tolerate. At least Porter inspired "I Honestly Love You"... I love The Wrights and most of their music but disagree with Peter Cooper about "In The Summertime". Although it has its moments here and there, mostly it just drags along in its slow paced mellowness. If this album was my first introduction to The Wrights, I would likely never pursue their music further, unlike their debut "Down This Road" and their self-titled EP which I love. Let the buyer beware on this one....
