This is one of my favorite songs of the years. I love that it makes me feel good. Jessica is a breathe of fresh air to the country scene.

I love this song it’s so AMAZING!
YOU GO GIRL, don’t listen to the other people that dont know what a real song is. And I think you do better at country music, so stick to waht you are doing now! its great! I wish it was my song. And it is exactly how I feel about my husband!!!!

OT, but ‘The Dark Knight’ sure was great.

Oh, wait! I just remembered that I’ve never written, directed and/or starred in a movie myself, and therefore I am not qualified to judge whether a movie someone else made is any good or not. So I actually don’t know, it might have been a piece of crap. Never mind.

DJS: Isnt it possible that the people that are discussing the music and the way that this song doesnt appeal to them musically is an example of them not liking the song only? Why does it have to be a bunch of “bitter musicians”? I also am sick and tired of the whole, “Show us your hits” argument. Are you suggesting that everytime you watch an NFL or NBA game that you dont criticize the ref’s call or a players mistake on the court or field? Unless your an athlete of world-class stature, you shouldn’t do that ever, according to your narrow argument. Insecurity isnt what drives many people to criticize a musical work, its simply not liking it, and this is a forum for discussion, both postive and negative.

Say what you like, but wish I had written it. I’d be smiling all the way to the bank with every royalty check I cashed. I say, right on to the writers, the players, the producer, the engineer, and to Jessica Simpson as well. Lighten up, not every pop song is a masterpiece. To all you critics, show us your hits and let’s see how they hold up. Get over yourselves, and stop criticizing the success of others to feel better about yourselves. You sound like bitter musicians trying to knock down anything that points to your own lack of success.

This song sounded much better with Victoria Banks singing it with only acoustic guitar. I’m still not sure it is country, but it sounded like real music…not computer generated like Simpson’s. I prefer Victoria Banks’ voice as well. It too sounded real, not like Simpson’s imitation of what she thinks a country singer should sound like.
