It's awesome to see her take a stab at a more contemporary sound though "Too Far Gone" will always above the rest for me. The Wrights record also impressed me to the nth degree. It was the fact Catherine didn't used to sound like current Nashville "product" and other mainstream artists that I found attractive. She still sounds distinctive, but no longer in a way that intrigues me. The "Hillbilly, Pickin, Ramblin Girl" from Newcastle Australia has grown up... Its nice to see The Wrights get the second highest rating of the bunch with 4 stars (coming in second to Dailey & Vincent). I just received the new album and really have been enjoying it a great deal. Its not as captivating musically as "Down This Road" but its a whole lot better than 95% of the music coming out of Nashville these days. PS to Brady: If you want to check out some newer quality Aussie artists on the scene, then find online music videos from Kirsty Lee Akers and Harmony James. They do extremely well on Aussie country radio out in the bush regions where the listeners still have good taste, unlike those "big smoke" city slickers who prefer rockin' country....
