Bill is amazing -- how many other veteran artists who started in the early 60's (or maybe late 50's) are still writing Top Ten hits? I saw B.J. Thomas perform at a club in Santa Ana named "The Crazy Horse Saloon" in the late 1980's. B.J. told the audience he had started at the top back in the late 1960's ("Hooked On A Feeling", "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head") and had been steadily working his way down ever since! (lol) When mainstream artists go fully into the gospel realm their mass market appeal is bound to wane. Fun stuff as usual Paul, and I actually even recognize a fair portion of the artists named!
