That Blake Shelton tracklist following the Bobby Braddock quote is classic!

Jeez, I remember Ryan Murphey as a kid singing with his dad about how they can’t understand women. Now he’s teaching school and getting Grammy nominations. I feel old.

How old was he when he sang that? He didn’t sound particularly young, but he must not have been too old.

I think he was around 14 or 15 at the time, Leeann. This was pre-Rimes era, so it was pretty unusual for a teenager to be heard on the radio.

I remember liking that song as a kid. Now, it sounds dated though.

Opry Alert! Tonight’s Opry will feature Clay Walker, Darryl Worley, and Blake Shelton. Saturday Night’s Opry will feature Lorrie Morgan, Chuck “Weepy” Wicks, and Ronnie Milsap. Not outstanding as far as line ups go, but better than a poke in the eye.

The Bobby Braddock interview was very interesting. A good read for sure.

I wish Chris N. luck with “M” magazine. In this economy and with the way periodical sales are trending he’s gonna need it.

Wow, Ray Wylie Hubbard got 5 Mudflap Ladies at Twang Nation! Won’t have to waste any time listening to that one…

The Bobby Braddock interview was very interesting. A good read for sure.

I highly recommend his book ‘Down in Orburndale’. I hope he finishes the new one soon.

The Bobby Braddock interview is great, but I don’t know where the writer comes off saying that “I Wanna Talk About Me” is Toby Keith’s “career record.”

Just from memory, I’d say “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” “How Do You Like Me Now?” and “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” are all more important records for Keith’s career.
