Has anyone considered doing a country version of the blog “isanyoneup?” How cool would that be? You know how is anyone up is a place for hipsters to submit nude photos of themselves and for revenge their exes and also nudes of members of bands? And then they put up a screenshot of the person’s Facebook too so you can actually friend the naked person or whatever? Well, that is such a good idea but the way its run, its just not country enough. Too urban. Now that the9513 is gone, we need a new country blog. Maybe someone will start a country version of isanyoneup.

So long The9513, you will be missed. This has been the only reliable place I have found for country music commentary over the years. When I was assitant program director at a country station in south Georgia a few years back, we used this site extensivly to get an outside opinion on new singles and artists. We were trying to break red dirt country into the Georgia market and very nearly succeeded. I’m glad to see you’ve decided to let the sie fade away rather than try to offer deminished content and quality. If only more things could end gracefully rather than run themselves into the ground. We’ll see you on the highway I suppose.
