When i was younger, i thought “Silly Love Songs” was very clever. i remember listening to it on my AM transistor radio (WRKO), while delivering newspapers in my neighborhood.

Even though in the video, Urban leads you to believe he wrote the song, “Making Memories of Us” is by Rodney Crowell. One of the original versions by Crowell can be found on The Notorious Cherry Bombs CD. Urban covered it, as well as Tracy Byrd in 2003.
