BIG fan of Tom Russell. he’s a living legend! Tulare Dust, Down The Rio Grande, The Rose of San Joaquin. His work with Dave Alvin and Joe Ely…great music.

The only Russell album I have is Indians Cowboys Horses Dogs, but I’ve placed almost his whole catalog on this year’s Christmas list in hopes that his other albums are of comparable quality.

I’m only familiar with a handful of these other songs, but of the ones I know, I’d highly recommend “Gallo Del Cielo,” “Navajo Rug” and “Tonight We Ride.”
