Four Brothers, Two Great Bands

Brody Vercher | November 21st, 2006 Email Share

Michael Corcoran has a wonderful article that he wrote for a cover story on Austin360. It’s a story of four brother who played in their father’s band as they were growing up in Idaho. The father himself was in an all-brother band as well. Later on, two of the brothers split to pursue more of an alternative country sound while the other two stayed in the family band. After a while they split off as well to do their own thing. Today the two bands are known as Reckless Kelly and Micky and the Motorcars.

It’s definitely worth checking out.
