Romeo & Rebound

All things country!

There's like a background voice in Laura Bell Bundy's song "Rebound" that sounds the same as one in Dolly Parton's "Romeo" ... I noticed this, so I was wonderin if they are the same?

I doubt it very much. The chorus on "Romeo" was made up of Billy Ray Cyrus, Tanya Tucker, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Kathy Mattea and Pam Tillis.

While I like "Romeo", that song was a waste of so much great talent.

Yes, which is why I found it interesting :?

Could someone at least listen to both though, and comment on what I'm hearing?

There's nothing really distinctive about the background vocals that remind me of "Romeo" or anything else; they're pretty generic. Aren't the background vocalists credited in the liner notes?

The whole song sounds like an Alvin and the Chipmunks record.

There's like a line "Oh I get it honey" or something close to that, that's like spoken and sounds like something spoken in the "Romeo" song
