Well, so far I've bought some stuff with money I got for Christmas like:

Mountain Soul by Patty Loveless
On Your Way Home by Patty Loveless
Dreamin' My Dreams by Patty Loveless
Right Out Of Nowhere by kathy Mattea
Jo Dee Messina by Jo Dee Messina
I'm Alright by Jo Dee Messina
Dawn Of A New Day by Crystal Shawanda
A Rush Of Blood To The Head by Coldplay

The first 4 I bought off Amazon.com yesterday, while the last 4 I bought in stores. Pretty good haul, huh?

How do you like Crystal Shawanda's album? I really liked "You Can Let Go" ... I need to listen to some more of her music

The parts of the album I've heard are really good. My Roots Are Showing and Dawn of a New Day are my favourites.

I went to YouTube and listened to about 6 of the tracks, they were pretty good ;)

I may have to get this album... she seems to be quite promising and shows potential

It's half mediocre, half great. The best songs are the two singles, "Evolution", the title track, while everything else fades away. Her voice is great everywhere though, she just needs better material. I would get it though, it's very enjoyable. You'll probably like it more than I did, Indulged.

I think I am going to get it :D I can use some of the money I got for Xmas on it

She reminds me of Sarah Buxton, but Shawanda's rasp sounds beautiful and Buxton's sounds like a dying animal

Eyes of the Hawk!!!!!!

Sorry. I saw the Bravestar reference, and that immediately popped into my head. There's probably three people in this forum who'll get that, but what the heck.

That's why I banned gift cards in our family this year. I want THOUGHT put into my presents!

And I got it. Nothing country music related though. I have most of the cds I want already
