Can we have some sort of polling system? I just love polls!

Like some weekly poll like about your favorite new single or new album or something :D

My only problem with polls is that they often become the monster of the forum...as we experienced with listamania. My fear is that we'll have ten polls on the first page, for example, "Sara Evans or Kellie Pickler?" or "Pop or Alt?" or "Traditional or Contemporary?" etc etc. I've witnessed it take over many a good forum.

I meant just one poll at a time... that is a little thing in the corner somewhere and it doesn't change for 5-7 days or so

That's the concern I have with polls and the reason they weren't enabled from the beginning.

Y'all can send me ideas for polls and I'll choose one or two a week to publish to keep them from flooding the forum.

Those lists are hardly a monster. Very few people post in them, but many more read them. Although I've created a lot of them, I wouldn't have done anything like as many if they hadn't been put in a separate area.

Peter,

I think he meant for the general country music forum rather than the listmania spot.

Yes, I'm aware of that, But I don't think they were a monster when they were in the main area. Once they had a separate area, I felt the urge to do a lot more than I otherwise would have done.
