There are the CD's I'll approve of, although I like a few of Lady GaGa's songs...

I know you'll enjoy Trisha's CD, it's stellar.

I got:
50 Greatest Hits, by Reba (I'm still on disc 2. xD)
Clothes, money, and gift cards. (Money/cards totaling to around 200$)

My Grandma actually sent Taylor Swift's Fearless, but she included the receipt, so I'm returning it tomorrow when I go shopping. (Not because I don't want it, I already have it!)

So far I've listened to most of the albums; Joey+Rory's, Jewel's, both of Deana Carter's, Michelle's, and Avril's (I also got her Under My Skin CD)

I alrdy know that they all are and will be wonderful once I've listened to them all... so far my favorite is definitely Deana's Did I Shave My Legs for This? ... perfect voice, perfect blend of fun and energy in the songs... it's amazingly good music

Gift cards. And a bottle of Tommy cologne, I just love the smell of that stuff.

Why does everybody give money and gift cards anymore? What happened to 'it's the thought that counts'? Not much thought goes into slipping a 50 into a card or buying a gift card at the check-out at Target ...

I don't know... doesn't happen to me; I ask for music CDs, digital camera, Dark chocolate, etc...

Gift cards/money usually means one of two things:
1- Didn't know what they would want, so I'll let them pick it out themselves
2- I'm afraid they may have this alrdy/might not like it

I didn't like the Wicked book, it was ok, but too explicit. Not family-friendly like the musical- which I loved by the way.

Same here, that's why I got the RELOADED version for those awesome songs :D

Surprisingly, Jewel's album is one of the most solid ones I got. Even more surprisingly, I am a smidge disappointed in the Trisha Yearwood album... there's several tracks that I struggled not to press the next button on, but there's still some AMAZING songs on it (title-track, "Nothin' 'Bout Memphis", & "This is Me...") :?

I found Jewel's album decent, but kind of repetitive. Most of the songs sounded the same to me. I did really like I Do and Till it Feels Like Cheating.

This was the first year everyone finally gave up trying to buy CD's I like and gave me all gift cards. Cool with me. They're burning a hole in my pocket right now and I'm thinking hard about what to load up on.

"Cowboys Are My Weakness" was by far the most god-awful of the album

There were maybe 2 others that were pretty bland... mostly towards the end of the album... like tracks 10-13 or something it started sliding downhill quality-wise

The first leg of the album was quite wonderful though; especially the first four or five songs

A lot of thought went into my parents getting me a gift card. They can't get any of the cds or books or patterns I want and I would have had to pay an extra 50.00 to take a second suitcase back home with me flying home, so I begged people not to get me bulky stuff.

I got:
50.00 Visa gift card--Parents (plus 150.00 towards my ticket home)
Sweater Jacket--Sister
Really cool cat shaped clock and mouse pin--Aunt

All of the gifts from my friends I haven't gotten yet.

I got a new 32" LCD TV for my bedroom. And I just bought a Blu-Ray player with some of my Christmas bonus money.
