Definitely going to watch some of it. Phelps pursuit of gold medal record, the sprints, and tennis to name a few. Should be good!

That opening ceremony was cool for a while, but damn did it get boring. May and Walsh kicked some ass during beach volleyball. The piece they did on Micheal Phelps was touching, and it was awesome to see him win gold. I caught some of the gymnastics, but what I'm really waiting for is the basketball tomorrow morning.

I felt bad for the Japanese team--they were so short. (Of course they were my height, but they LOOKED short).

It was funny that they admitted to feeling unlucky after being matched up against the US in the first round two Olympics in a row.

Had to feel bad for them about that too.

Am I the only one who finds the Olympics terribly boring and can't understand people who spend hours watching it?

It's weird. I hate most sports, but I can spend an hour watching rowing if its at the Olympics.

Had I been a biker I would have set a new world record just to get out of the rain.

That was AMAZING! Especially after that Frenchie started yapping off about how France would smoke us.

The Dj Booth for the Beach Volleyball event seems to have been hijacked by the 80's.

I'm Australian, so, it's all about the swimming.

As for the beach volleyball music, c'mon! I'm trying to work out if it's shameful or awesome that they were playing Men at Work in between points when the Australian women were playing. That and the combination of Jennifer Lopez's Let's Get Loud made for scary periods in between points and sets.

The gymnastic men are doing incredible, especially considering that two of them are alternates.
