Mozilla Firefox version 3.5.2

Off-topic and miscellaneous discussion not pertaining to country music.

I updated to version 3.5.2 this morning and now my right mouse button won't work. This is really annoying when trying to copy and paste the lists in the singles competitions. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know how to fix it?

I haven't updated Firefox in a while as I use Opera, but you could always uninstall and install the previous version from here:

I upgraded a few days ago, but haven't had any problems. Did your right mouse button quit working everywhere or just when you use it in Firefox?

Thanks. Maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow.

Looks like a bug has been reported for this:
http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_fo ... &forumId=1

I've also read that extensions are frequently the cause. You might try disabling all your extensions and see if that fixes the issue, and if so, enable them one at a time to figure out which one could be the problem.

If you want to go back, I'd grab the release directly from the Mozilla server:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla ... /releases/

What are extensions -- do you mean add-ons?

My bookmarks seem to have vanished as well. The more recent ones are hidden in a submenu but I can't seem to just scroll down through the whole list anymore.

Yeah, extensions and add-ons are the same thing. They started out calling them extensions and I haven't adopted the new terminology yet.

I've seen a bit about disappearing bookmarks as well, but haven't looked into the issue too much. Your bookmarks are stored in an html file in your Firefox profile folder if you want to go find that and back it up and check to see if they're still there. The location is usually something like:
C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
Then there's a folder with a bunch of characters followed by a .default and inside that folder you'll find a file called bookmarks.html

I think the Yahoo Toolbar and Anti-Virus add-ons cause most of the right click issues.

Good call. Glad to see someone else has found it.

Yeah, downloading and installing the new Yahoo toolbar solved the problem.
