Kenny Chesney's new album...

All things country!

The album is passable - it doesn't offend but doesn't excite, either. One of my co-workers purchased it and I listened to his copy. Ho hum zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm of the impression that if you were to purchase a Kenny Chesney album (or Tim McGraw, Rascall Flatts, Terri Clark, Jo Dee Messina and countless others) the right strategy is to simply wait for the Greatest Hits albums to be released and buy those

I purchased Kenny's early albums then lost interest in him - I think I have his first two albums, a radio promo interview with Lon Helton and the Greatest Hits album

My problem with Kenny Chesney is that if I want to listen to a Jimmt Buffet album, I'll listen to one with Jimmy Buffet singing on it.

You know, if someone wanted to be really mean they'd convince Kenny that Jimmy has an older, even more island singing brother Warren and see what that does to his music........

Somebody hasn't listened to Fearless by Terri Clark. It's a stellar album that should be appreciated by all. ;)

I finally got my copy of Kenny's new album (d@mn Canadian mail system. It takes forever!) Anyways, I agree with this cd being "Old Blue Chair Part 2" but I'm okay with that. I happen to love "Old Blue Chair" and the songs on "Lucky Old Sun".

I guess it depends on what you are looking for but I have to disagree with this comment. Some of the songs Kenny has released as singles are my LEAST favourite tracks. For example, Keg in the Closet, Summertime and Don't Blink. Now that's only one song from the last three albums but still. You're missing a lot of good music if you stick with the Greatest Hits only.
