Courtesy of indulgedcountrymusic. I rounded the list out with a little variety and limited it to releases in September.

Well the Heidi album came out in mid-August, just so you know... I couldn't think of much, so I thought that might be okay ;)

Oh, right, I wasn't paying attention. It was actually the beginning of August, though, I think.

I bumped it in favor of Bruce Robison, which I thought I included in the original poll.

Hey how'd you create a poll Brady? I've listened to Simpson's, Rucker's, Chambers', and Kristy Lee Cook's. I thought they were all pretty good, but since I had such low expecatations for Jessica Simpson's, I'll give her the nod.

Cool, I thought I'd be Simpson's only votee ;)

I don't think non-admins can make polls

I don't plan on purchasing any of those albums. The EYB is the only one remotely interesting to me.

Then send a PM to Brady with your suggestions.

I'm going to take the radical step of saying Rodney Crowell's. I haven't heard it yet, but based on past experience.

I've heard all of the listed albums

Paty Loveless closely followed closely by Darius Rucker and not quite as closely by Rodney Crowell

The rest are dragging far far behind - whoever told Jessica Simpson she can sing ?? Bleech !
The Good Lord gives me grace while the Devil gives me style - James Gamble Rogers III

Despite Patty's huge lead, Jessica is second in the poll at the moment

And I proudly voted for her; so there :P

I voted for Chambers and Nicholson, but I have a feeling Crowell will overtake them once I get around to buying that record.

You know what? One day in the future you may try to run for office and statements like this may come back to haunt you. Remember, once something's out on the web, it's there forever. I can see your political opponents 25 years from now using your love of Jessica against you; you'll try to dismiss it as a youthful indiscretion, but your credibility with the voters will be tarnished, perhaps beyond repair.

I can dig the Patty Loveless argument, but by my account, Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson, Bruce Robison, Hal Ketchum and Chris Knight all blew the middling Darius Rucker album out of the water. ;)
