Wad up wid dat? I haven't even hardly been on the internets in days yet I haven't seen this posted anywhere. (I know, I know, Carrie fans are rare heahabouts! )

Looks like a young Nashville songwriter is in the running for a track on Carrie's new album. He's written a song called "Love Had Something To Say". Not a bad tune and I can picture some steel and fiddles on it. The guy's got some good stuff. Name of Andy Gibson. http://www.myspace.com/andygibsononline

Just hope he doesn't burn the song out or it'll never get cut. He's excited though and I can see why. Not even my favorite track on his site. I like his "Believe in Me" and "Drive You Outa' My Mind" better. "From You On" is a killer ballad. To me anyhoo. The guy has some talent. Check it out.

Carrie just put a "hold" on the song. You know how that goes. Could make the cut or not. The more I listen to his stuff the more I like it though.

My MySpace favs are getting outa' control! Geez! I don't even listen to mainstream radio hardly at all anymore. If I wasn't so technologically backwards I could make a heckova' playlist from just MySpace artists!
