I'll be pulling this one out of my... well, you know where. I love Steve, mostly Transcendental Blues and earlier, but I've never formulated an opinion of what my favorites of his are. Well, here's a start.
Goodbye Guitar Town Transcendental Blues Me and the Eagle Taneytown My Old Friend the Blues Over Yonder I Don't Want to Lose You Yet Feel Alright Billy Austin
1. CCCKMP 2. The Mountain 3. Hillbilly Highway 4. Valentine's Day 5. South Nashville Blues 6. Fort Worth Blues 7. Pilgrim 8. I Ain't Ever Satisfied 9. You're Still Standin' There (duet with Lucinda Williams) 10. The Other Side Of Town
I only have a couple of Steve's albums (Guitar town, The mountain) although I used to have another (Exit O) on vinyl, so I don't feel qualified to make a top 10 list. I get the impressiuon that he peaked at the beginning of his career.
