Wow…those are some juicy affadavits… high quality entertainment reading.

Yeah, those affidavits are pretty wild. Of course, they’re supposed to make John Rich appear in a negative light and in that regard, they succeed greatly.

Man, John Rich has elevated douchebaggery to an art.

As you know, I am a John Rich fan, but I do realize that he has an ego and a drinking problem, but I do not agree with Jared Ashley putting so much in his complaint that he did not need to. He did this the day before John releases his cd, making sure that Jared Ashley does as much damage as he can and make his name known. Nice timing, I think they may both have a problem. I am sticking to the music, and leaving personality out of it. John Rich needs to assess his behavior and Jared Ashley has to ?? not sure. both are opportunists.

That John Rich stuff is golden. Can’t stop reading. It’s the most entertaining stuff I’ve come across in a LONG time.
I’m ready for Big Kenny’s affidavit to come out where he claims JR bullied him into making crappy music!

When you read all that JR stuff, it does seem like Alcohol could be the biggest problem here. A funny line from the Jared Ashley affidavit, “He would pull up his limo in front of a club on Broadway, crawl through to the back and get out like he was the celebrity.”

I’ve met Jared Ashley and he’s an a douchebag too so….”birds of a feather…”

Opry Alert! Don’t forget about tonight’s second installment of “Opry Country Classics” starting at 7 PM Nashville Time. Until they develop a set routine the show is full or surprises. Its well worth checking out: http://www.wsmonline.com/
Miss Leslie’s MySpace blog posts are never boring, that’s for sure! Thanks for the link.
Regarding the sad news about Duane Jarvis, this Sunday marks the season opener of the “Sunday Afternoon Free LA Country Scene Concerts” at the Grand Ole Echo club in Echo Park. They run from 5 9 PM and I’m sure some words will be spoken in tribute to Duane from the stage this Sunday as many of the performers were likely friends and acquaintances of Duane. Their MySpace website had a request out for video footage of Duane performing on the GOE stage. Rest in peace Duane.

Those affidavits sure didn’t leave out any details.

Oh, and that’s excellent news about Miss Leslie’s album. Her latest MySpace blog entry – Country Music Frustration (As Opposed to the Other Kind) – is a spot-on observation. And a damn good one too.

Damn…makes JR seem scary and a big let down in Nashville. I wonder what his status will be in the year to come. If he ever believes he truly deserves the status of Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, etc…then he needs to do a 360 and learn the ropes of a humble being.

I didnt see the Tin Pan Show that Mr Shelburn refers to, but I’ve seen several MIGHTY FINE Tin Pan shows this week. I’d be hard-pressed to put them in order of my favorites. They’ve all been great.
