jean and stonewall jackson came to the l.c.o caseno in hayward wisconsin on 11-15-08 i finally got to see and hear her, that took 45 years to do that, i thought for a little woman she sure can sing and yodle. i also got to take a picture with her. she has been my favorite singer for years marlene c bayfield wisconsin

Paul, your article is excellent. I totally agree with those that feel she is the tops in the female country singers. She is one of those rare entertainers with talent and with feeling for her fans. When she performs, it is with heart and soul. It is a pity that she can not be totally recognized for her contributions to the country music industry.

I would say if her albums – even collections of her hits – cannot be easily obtained then she qualifies as “forgotten”.
