Gosh, in that picture attached to the article Pauline Reese resembles the Bride of Frankenstein a whole lot more than Carrie Underwood. Must be more of that “Texas Pride” self-delusional regional thing going on.
Josh Kelly was on the Opry the other night and can really sing slow ballads well. I’ve never heard any of his pop music and was pleasantly surprised.
As long as Eddie Montgomery’s prostate cancer hasn’t metastasized, he should be just fine. Its usually a slow growing, self-contained form of cancer.
Link Title: “Big & Rich aren’t done, yet.” Damn, that’s the worst news I’ve heard since the last time Obama opened his mouth and spoke to foreign dignitaries on one of his recent trips.
Chris Scruggs rocks! He always does a great job when he’s on the Grand Ole Opry and is actually just as entertaining or more so than his pal Chuck Mead. Go Chris!

@Rick At first I thought that Big & Rich getting back together was terrible news too, BUT think of it this way. As a duo, they are only putting out half as much terrible music as two solo acts! It’s a blessing in disguise for sure.

Rick–
Didn’t Big & Rich do something called “Raising McCain”??
I think they run with the anti-Obama crowd.

Big and Rich are of different political persuasions. It’s John Rich who does a lot of work for Republicans.

LuckyOldSun, it actually saddens me that Egoman John Rich is an outspoken Republican. He is so obnoxious (something I can personally relate to!) that I wish he would have stayed in the closet politically. Trace Adkins is a far better example of a right thinking conservative country artist who can eloquently express his views. I’m also a big fan of Charlie Daniels’ outspoken political nature as he puts candyass Obamavoter types in their place.
Big Kenny is a big, under-age, left over hippie-dippie flower power love child of the 1960′s who doesn’t even have to drop acid to live in a fairytale dream world of “love everybody” silliness. He’s just a big liberal goofball who is mostly harmless…
