I also want to add that I adore Ashley and her music! I especially loved her video of “I Don’t Want To”! Ronnie dunn’s vocals added such a haunting quality. Does anyone know who played the part of her boyfriend, the artist? He looks so familiar and I can’t figure out where I know him from.

Ashley Monroe is living proof that there is hope for country music, and what do they do…basically dump her.The fact that she’d rather dig ditches than cave in to pop country is really refreshing and courageous.I’m glad to see the big music labels fail, they deserve it.They have failed Ashley, they have failed fans and worst of all they have failed quality music. Ashley is the real deal…writing,singing,and performing all equally incredible. She’ll be around awhile and I can’t wait for her first real release.

This interview couldn’t have been done at a better time. I am going to see Ashley on the Ten out of Ten Tour tonight in Richmond. What a lovely precursor to her performance!
