I am not a country music fan at all, but I heard this two days ago and it just cracked me up. I love it. These guys do get cussed at plenty, I suppose. I have had many or most pull over when possible to allow others to pass. Some people are just in too big of a hurry to get nowhere. Farmers have a very tough job and need a little respect.

my dad was an international harvester dealer for 30 years. after the faLL company. we took two 715 combines and started harvesting corn, wheat and soy beans. this song really brought back memories. especially the remarks about the people trying to pass you on two lane road and blowing their horns.

I think that the tractor at the beginning of the song is a 6 cylinder gas. Most likely a 706 Farmall IH. My uncle Has a 706 that sounds identical.

I absolutely hate this song. The lyrics just piss me off. Ok, so you’re complaining that you’ve had a rough year and life is hard. So that justifies YOU making ME late for MY job? How does that work exactly? Get the hell off to the side of the road so I am not late and subsequenlty loose my job. OK?

What tractor did you use at the start of the International Harvester song? I think it sounds like a IH “Farmall 460 or 560″ a 6 cylinder tractor gas or deisel? I would really like to know Please! Thanks
